Periodically, investment markets go through periods of uncertainty. While we cannot control the current market volatility, we can provide you with reassurance on how your investments are safeguarded, with a particular focus on the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
We asked the Omnis investment team to put pen to paper, and they are pleased to share with you a simple 2-page document highlighting the different layers of protection in place. I like to think of the safeguarding of assets like an onion, with different layers of protection, each building on top of another. These different layers are explained in this piece.
Whilst this document applies to Omnis funds, one of the UK’s largest asset managers, with more than £10 billion under management (as at June 2022), there is a similar level of oversight and governance applied to all our recommended funds. To achieve this, we use the services of the Openwork Investment Committee who select, monitor and, when necessary, replace external fund managers.
I hope this piece helps reassure you of the layers of protection in place.
Kind regards
